Chung K. Law是燃烧研究领域的权威科学家，美国工程院院士。现任美国普林斯顿大学机械与航空航天工程系Robert H. Goddard教授，主要致力于燃烧与推进技术、传热与传质、能源和替代燃料等领域的研究，共发表过期刊论文350余篇和会议报告论文260余篇。

Chung K. Law 受聘后将与中国科学技术大学国家同步辐射实验室、火灾科学国家重点实验室、工程学院合作开展燃烧与传热等相关领域的研究工作，同时进行人员交流和年轻人才的培养。
